(Also, R-girl, I do appreciate the link, but I can't download those videos; plus, the quality of what I'm watching really isn't that bad. But still, thank you! ^^)
-Also, it's really quite fascinating that we're in this specific Pleasure Island/whatever in Pinocchio's world this time, because it seems that we're actually going to get to deal with far more of the plot of this Disney movie than in any previous Monstro world. Hmm. (Sidenote, but fuck, I don't even remember why or how in the hell Monstro ended up in the movie to begin with *headdesk*)

Alexa can still throw his chakrams around; he can still use the corridors, but they're a lot more dangerous for him now; and he can't use his Nobody fire, he has to learn fire spells the normal way from Merlin. Which made me feel a WHOLE lot better about his Keyblade thing. Nomura said he did that because Lea needed enough power to be able to save his friends. (Though of course the real reason is because he knew the fans would go nuts for it and give him even more money. :p)
I was under the impression that the Country of Musketeers was a different world than the TimelessRiver/MysteriousTower/DisneyTown ones that Mickey actually grew up in in the KHverse. Which would explain Minnie's lack of light beams. Though I have no idea what his line was about, where he was like, "I'm a world traveler too!" or whatever. o.O In the Musketeer movie, Minnie was a super-annoying princess, and Mickey was just a commoner Musketeer-wannabe. I have no idea if he's supposed to be royalty in the KHverse, but come to think of it, I don't think royalty would be acting as a deckhand on someone else's steamboat, right?
My theory is that our four missing Org members are under those six black coats that have yet to be revealed. *sniffle* I can't even imagine Demyx with yellow eyes and pointed ears, but.... DX

Nomura said that he added the last Dream Eaters in Traverse Town scene because he didn't think it was good to leave the Dream Eaters unacknowledged at the end, after the player spent so much time developing them. I have no clue what Sora's in-game reasons for re-visiting Traverse Town are, though. :/
I was interested to know that Ven's still in C.O., which actually shot down one of my theories. ^^;

At least as far as explaining things goes...out of all the villains, he was the best one. Josh was my favorite at explaining, then Xemnas (because he knew more than Yen Sid), and then Yen Sid.
And at the very least, I won't be watching any more walkthroughs for a while. I want to finish up watching some other things first, and before I attempt to get back into trying to play the game itself, I want to finish Re:CoM (because I can't borrow it forever XD). So, not quite. But I know a tiny bit more than I used to. XD

It's almost like Lost or Inception in that things were carefully planned out all along. It was almost like they were living a lie but not. My reaction was "well-done, Nomura." I don't think any of us saw it coming.
And Xehanort being so much like Voldemort, it's not even funny with the splitting of his essence, basically. Gee, that will probably work out for him so well in the end, too. :P And seriously, this game's cutscenes kept making me think Sora/Riku, even though I'm not the biggest yaoi fan in the world. But, I'm not starting to mind those two as a couple, I'll say that, at least in fanfiction.
I feel like my mind totally got blown up watching those later cutscenes. And to be honest, I like Xigbar a hell of a lot less now than I did before. Also knew that Saix would still insist on sticking with Xemnas after all this time. That's going to be an interesting dynamic between him and Lea, safe to say, for the next game. It's just painful irony that they used to be friends, too.
And holy shit, I thought Sora was going to die! I seriously thought that, and that's when the frickin' waterworks started for me. And then Riku's reaction broke my heart. And oh wow, so much heartbreaking stuff going on. And...Hm, is this why Xehanort is still alive, even though he's ancient? The whole soul splitting deal? I'm personally not sure because I don't know how far back in time BBS was...I think it might have only been ten or twenty years back. Hard to say for me, as I haven't watched the cutscenes of that game...yet. ;)
For me, I summed this game up as Inception meets Lost meets Star Wars meets Harry Potter meets Lord of the Rings. It's sure a good thing Inception came out, jk. Not even Inception was this complicated. Wow.
And I had two theories that were kind of right!!! Yes! Or maybe three! One was that Axel would come back to life. I knew that'd be the case, as Nomura did stress his presence in both CoM and KH2 to the point that yeah, you knew he'd be important. Another was that they would go back to their original selves, SOME of Org. XIII anyway. Ienzo sounds way more chipper than Zexion ever was. It's kind of weird but kind of funny at the same time.
And the biggest one of all: I knew Xemnas was a fucking liar. I mean, not only did he pretend he was toast at the end of KH2 (heh, explains the hamminess a great deal) but the Org. had hearts after all. I mean, duuuuh! Xemnas was a total con artist all along, knew it.
My mind is also officially blown up just based on all the Xehanort stuff that went on. That's what I love about KH, though. Even if you theorize and get some stuff right, there's still going to be a total shocker anyway.
Secret ending: well, Kairi fighting, that was inevitable. I just hope Sora's still around prominently in the third game anyway, even if he's not THE ONE any more.
This is Sunday, and I'm still recovering from what went on in the game. I loved the Fantasia level by the way. Especially loved that they included Tchaicovsky, he's one of my favorite composers of all time. Now, I can't wait until Christmas now because of all the Nutcracker music, lol. This game was mind-blowingly incredible...Well, the cutscenes were, I didn't go out and buy it. Now for KH3!
Oh, we have got to discuss more on this some time, I know there's probably a ton of stuff I forgot to mention to you. Oh, they better release KH3 on PS3, or else I'm gonna be pissed, ha. Well, that was just incredible.

God, this game is reeeeeaaaaally making me hate Xehanort far more than I'd ever done before, and now Xemnas has got a whole lot of rape-y vibes. :/
*shrugs* I've always been a Sora/Riku shipper, so just...the quiet, unwavering confidence that Riku has in Sora, Sora always being so happy to get confirmation that Riku's near...it's beautiful. And with me, I don't see why they can't have scenes that are celebrations of their friendship (which is what I think a lot of 3D is), and there still be a romantic level to their relationship as well. But yeah. The SoRiku was awesome, even as my SoNami heart was SHATTERED, YOU ARE SO CRUEL, NOMURA!!!!!!
I still like Xigbar. To me, he always was a troll, and a troll he still is. Plus, I'd already resigned myself to the fact that he was probably always going to stick with MX, but now...I actually feel sorry for him. And for once, actually hoping that he dies and gets put out of his misery. o.O But what I kind of don't get is how...Xig is so calm about becoming a XehaClone. Dude, you are going to lose YOURSELF. I guess he's just too far gone to feel any unease about it.
As for Saix...I dunno. Maybe it's another friend of mine, who's a huge Saix fan, rubbing off on me, but now I'm feeling that Saix was honestly raped and brainwashed and broken, and I just don't think he's really with Xem voluntarily. :/
BBS took place about 11-12 years ago now.
And wouldn't it have been so EDGY if they'd left Sora being in danger of becoming a dark vessel, and not have Riku save him or anything until KH3? Mind, I'm glad they didn't, but boy did the thought cross my mind of how horribly awesome that would have been. Clearly I am slightly evil. But anyway, yeah, I was also shocked at where they took Sora's story in this game, and I was getting REALLY NERVOUS and starting to panic a bit that even Riku wouldn't be able to save him. 'Tis a mark of the villain, I think, and how hopeless it seems to fight against them.
I think Sora is still the one...at least, he's the One True Heart of everything, anyway. But yeah, it was interesting getting Riku to end up being more of the hero in this game than Sora. Our boys are growing up *wipes away a tear*

Several years later, three young Keyblade wielders - Terra, Aqua, and Ventus - found themselves embroiled in a battle with Master Xehanort. In their travels, Master Aqua and Terra both met Sora and his best friend, Riku. Sora promised Aqua to keep Riku on the right path, while Riku made a secret promise with Terra. Not long after, Terra became a vessel for Master Xehanort, and Aqua vanished into the realm of darkness. As for Ventus, he shattered his own heart to protect his friends and returned to Sora's heart, where he sleeps to this day.
Years later, after Sora got older, he unknowingly hid his friend Kairi's heart inside his own to protect it. When Sora became a Heartless, he also inadvertently gave form to Kairi's Nobody, Naminé, while creating his own Nobody, Roxas.
Another being was also created: a replica named Xion. Xion was formed from Sora's memories of Kairi, and she had the power to copy Roxas.
Ultimately, Xion and Naminé realized their place and guided the pieces back where they belonged: Naminé returned to Kairi's heart, and Xion and Roxas returned to Sora's.
Many hearts have touched Sora's, and those connections remain - but their stories ended in sadness, a sadness in which they still sleep.'
