General Life/Mood Update: Currently trying to get back into a writing groove, and pump stuff out for Femslash February. We'll see how I continue to hold out.

GRAPES. It stands for what you should aim to fit in every day. Be GENTLE with yourself, get in some RELAXATION time, stay ACTIVE, do something PLEASURABLE, get some EXERCISE, and be SOCIAL. Pretty cool, huh? I'm gonna try this from now on.

Religion: I identify as an agnostic. In this instance, I don't believe that I have the right to say that one person in right while another is wrong in their beliefs. I also kind of feel that we human beings aren't meant to know the truth of the universe, and about whether there is God or Allah or the Greek Pantheon or whatever; not until we get there, anyway. And at the end of the day, religion honestly isn't something that I care about, or that makes an impact on my life. And I'm okay with that.

School: Currently taking a hiatus from college for mental health and such. I will be deciding at a later point in time about how or whether or not I want to return. I'll judge that once my mindset is in a better place.

Work: Am a jobless loser. This state of affairs will eventually have to change, I know, but until then...I'll be living with my parents off of my disability and attempting to muddle through and exercise my repressed emotions and such.

To do lists & errands: Um. Appallingly unproductive? I like making lists....I'm just absolutely terrible at following through on them most of the time.

Love life: Single, just like I've pretty much always been, and looking to be for a very long while. (Apart from the fact that my head's not exactly in a good space, but when someone a few months ago tried to kiss me, I completely freaked out. I'm pretty sure that there are issues there that need to be resolved or reflected upon at some point, but it's definitely at the very bottom of my priority list). And again, I'm really not that bothered by this. I tentatively identify myself as an asexual panromantic. XD I mean, I totally don't mind reading about sex or anything, and in and of itself, it doesn't squick me out. It's just when sex is applied to me that I flip my shit. Annnnnd I'm moving on from this topic. XP

Hobbies: wasting too much time on fanfiction/the internet in general, reading, theatre, writing, playing video games or some other sort of game. I only watch TV if someone else has it on, and rarely watch movies by myself. I also like hanging out with friends and family, but only if I can have at least a couple hours of quiet time for myself.

Fanfiction: Stupidly invested in this. It's really an addiction that I need to find a way to balance. :/

Original stories: They've been languishing away in a purgatory of sorts, ever since college killed my main writing muse. I'm hoping to revive it in the near-distant future, starting with a personal memoir/therapy project of sorts. :)

Thanks, R-girl. I just...most of the time, I'm fine, but when I actually have to talk about it, or think about it, I start tearing up or crying. And when I look in the cage, I keep looking for her, but she's not there anymore. Plus, I feel awful for Magnet, who's alone now. And then I wonder how rats understand death and such, and....gah.

And it was pretty bad to have to open the cage and poke her and to have her not move and such, but...I've had rats before, you know. Between my sister and I, we've had Stuart Little, Buttons, Levi, Cookie, Hoppy, Tiki, and Cinnamon, when we were growing up and several years before our current batch of rats. And I remember them dying, you know? And burying them and all that. But Namine's death was the worst. I've never seen a rat get sick and just...waste away like that before. And then my mom was basically keeping a running commentary on it and always going on and saying, "Look, she can't even crawl, she's so weak, she doesn't even have the strength to hold herself up," and I just wanted to SCREAM at her, because yes, I KNOW THAT, MOM, I CAN SEE IT, but what the fuck do you expect me to be able to do about it, because I CAN'T do anything, it's too late, I can't get her to eat, or drink water, there's just...nothing. It also doesn't help that Lys's rat, Mozart, is having eye problems, and the family dog, Penny, is really getting old and showing her age (15), and so she's probably also going to die soon, and on top of everything else...

Life sucks for me right now, a lot. And I'm sorry for ranting and such. :/

Yeah, I'm going to try writing. I just can't right now, because my back's in a lot of pain, and I can't even twitch without there being a HUGE FLARE OF PAAAAAIIIIIIIINNNNNNNN, and so that's incredibly distracting. *sighs* Yesterday it was my knees, and today it's this.

And yeah. It's not really a fun feeling.

It was a long time before I finally stopped sensing Dusty's absence, or automatically looking for her every time I passed the back door...I didn't realize before how subconsciously aware I was of her presence until she was gone. It felt really empty for a while.... I am sorry for Magnet, too. ;;

..............Trust me, looking in the cage and seeing her not move is way, way, way better than what my sister and I discovered. X( I don't want to sound insensitive, but...it's true. I feel kind of sick even thinking about it right now. DX I really am glad that Namine passed naturally.

I'm sure that sucked, though, having to hear the commentary as it happened. :/ And having all those problems with the other pets, too. ;;

And I am soooooooooo, so very sorry to hear you are in pain.... D: No, by all means, go ahead and vent, you're going through a difficult time right now. *offers much love and prayers*

DX We've really only been able to bond over Community and Sherlock, otherwise it's all either gross/scary murder mysteries and/or boring courtroom dramas. D: D: D: I watched a ton of TV as a kid, when I got older I started recording specific shows (usually anime), but nowadays, TV just seems like such a waste of time to me.... I love movies, though. ^^ I'll totally watch them by myself, heh.

Hahaha....yes. But there's more than it appears, you know? Like, I don't count all the forum posts I need to reply to as separate...instead, the forums only count as 3, because there are 3 forums I need to reply to. And such. But yeah...when my inbox count ventures near 50, I'm inspired to do a purge, and whittle it back down into nicer numbers. I think fondly of the days I used to have it around 10 or so...XD

Both of my parents love the TV. I can't bring myself to watch it with my dad, because it's similar to yours. Except instead of murder mysteries, he watches OLD OLD OLD westerns and Dallas and stuff like that. :/ My mom, on the other hand, mostly keeps the TV on as background noise, but she prefers, in the morning, to keep it on ABC, where there's Good Morning America, Live, The View, Midday news, Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, The Chew, Good Afternoon America, etc. And late at night, things like The People's Court, etc. And on the weekends, she likes The Closer, Criminal Minds, and Numbers. But given my choice, I turn off the TV. I like binge watching stuff on Netflix, and not actually keeping up with them in real time. XD

And yeah...mostly, TV is a waste of time.

I like movies too, but I don't often watch them...only when I get in the mood. And I don't mind watching them by myself, it's just that my sister has me watch stuff with her more often than I get the urge to do it myself.

Lol, I'm glad you're enjoying it so much!

And yeah...in a lot of things I've been trying lately, like Avatar and FMA, I found I mostly preferred things to stay platonic....basically, I think I've become less tolerant of pairings that the story insists on SHOVING IN MY FACE. Like Ed/Winry and Aang/Katara. Neither of them are the worst couplings I've ever seen, but damn it, STOP PUSHING THEM IN MY FACE, IF I WANT TO LIKE THEM, I CAN DO IT ON MY OWN DAMN IT. (Now that I think about it, it's why most canon pairings don't hold that much appeal to me...SoKai, Harry/Ginny, etc...) And that's really why Roy/Riza become my very favorite, with Izumi/Sig and Wrath/Mrs. Bradley right behind them----because those relationships were allowed to just BE, you know? Those were a quiet, understated love that didn't need to be justified or shouted about---they just KNEW.

And I think, if I was to ever have a romance, that's what I'd want it to be like.

WELL, JAFAR AND IAGO ARE BASICALLY LIKE THE ODD COUPLE, I CAN'T HELP MYSELF. XD

First of all, a reply to your life update - completing Jiminy's Journal is so hard, mostly because of items synthesis ._. There's two tasks that I've never been able to do because they're so hard; but other than that, it's the synthesis stuff that wears me out and takes forever - especially those stupid Twilight Stones! They're so hard to find, I had to keep spamming one or two areas of the Castle That Never Was, and even with Lucky Strike or whatever abilities equipped, those Stones weren't dropped very often!!! *is so not a gamer XD*

I've seen one or two of J.K. Rowling's non-HP books while a lot when I help at the library. How do they compare to the Harry Potter series? (From what I understand, they're just normal adult fiction, right? They're not speculative fiction or meant for kids?)

I just finished season 2 of Once Upon a Time...gaaahhhh, I can't find the first half of season 3 anywhere! I've been trying Once Upon a Time in Wonderland to console myself, but I'm a couple of episodes in and am very unimpressed so far. :/

Just out of curiosity, is your original story muse still dead, or has it been reviving at all...?

If I didn't hate Regina so much (she drives me nuts because she's like the people I have to deal with a lot, who ignore my advice and determinedly plow ahead to constantly screw up their own lives -.-), I'd have fun shipping Emma/Regina/Henry + all their relatives in a crazy family. XD
I didn't like Cinderella in this show....
I actually like Mulan/Aurora without Phillip. XD Once they stopped being rivals and became friends, their relationship gave me feels. But I hate love triangles, and now that Phillip's back (which is a good thing on its own, but still), I'm afraid of seeing love triangle drama in season 3. *sweatdrop*

Snow White's prince in the animated Disney movie actually has no official name. "Ferdinand" was a common misunderstanding from a speech someone made, and actually refers to Ferdinand the bull from one of Disney's shorts. Anyway! To finally answer this comment, after more than a year.... ^^;

I was doing that, too.... Like, if a forum post comes in, that'll be my "bookmark;" then any subsequent forum alerts for the same topic get deleted if I haven't responded to the bookmark post yet.
...Even with that, though, it overwhelmed me. :/ As soon as I get a chance, I'm just gonna delete all my forum bookmarks, there's just way too much for me to catch up with.... DX For a long time now, I've considered just leaving the forum altogether.... I can't quite bring myself to do it, since I don't want to miss out when you guys have news and stuff; but I just can't keep up with it. :/ It's also the only time I ever talk to Ip these days.... She's not on any other sites, so we don't stay in touch the way I do with my other friends. DX I should at least review more of her stuff, but it's so hard to find time to read.... ;;

It seems like I've been watching more TV shows lately, mostly because my dad and I have found more shows that we're both interested in.... Still, unless they're on DVD, I don't watch them except together with Dad. ^^ It's nice to have something we can do together, since my family's so busy and usually scattered. X'D

My neighbors have Netflix.... It's nice to kill time with when I'm baby-sitting after the kids are in bed, but it also seems pretty awkward and clumsy (as far as re-winding and fast-forwarding and stuff), and will sometimes blip or just stop altogether and throw up error messages. I also can't figure out how to put on subtitles. Is it like that for you, too, or do my neighbors just have a rough setup or something?

I prefer binge watching, too. XD

Although I wouldn't call the Internet itself a waste of time the way TV is, I do seem to waste soooo much time on it. X'D Stupid addictions.... I still haven't figured out why it takes me so long to do only a few things, because sometimes it seems like time literally disappears without having passed normally. :/

Lol, I do feel your pain...and yep, those Twilight Stones are the last ones I need to get. XD Ah well, at least I comfort myself with the knowledge that I actually vastly prefer the synthesis in KH2 vs. KH1...but when isn't that the case. :P

Well, so far as I can see, one is just regular old fiction, and I think her other two are murder mysteries, but I haven't finished any of them. *headdesks* The Casual Vacancy is definitely not as enthralling as HP, but I think that's just my personal tastes speaking, as there's nothing wrong with the writing. And the main reason why I haven't finished them is because I promised I'd read them with my mom, and we're...a bit rocky at the moment and such, so it's not really a slant against the books themselves, you know what I mean? *shrugs* I guess time will tell.

Ahahahaha, I haven't even watched season 2, really. OUAT is on my seemingly never-ending list of shows I still need to watch/catch up/finish. XD I'm actually trying to finish season 4 of MLP right now. So...no, I can't really expand much on those pairings. Just that I think all of Emma and Regina's problems and conflicts would be solved if they just got married and raised him together. :P Thomas's support of Cinderella touched me in that one episode, despite everything, and polyamory/threesomes always make everything better, and screw love triangles. Mulan/Aurora, Phillip/Aurora, Phillip/Mulan? Fuck it, JUST ALL BE TOGETHER! So, yeah, I've heard good things about Mulan/Aurora until they fucked it up with a love triangle (how dare they ruin my precious Phillip's return), and that's cool, but I (obvs) love Phillip to pieces, and don't want him to completely miss out on the love. So...OT3! :D ;)

And, uh, yes, most writing muses are still dead. *sighs* I got a tiiiiiny bit of writing done earlier, but of course that was immediately killed when my mom woke up and started in on me. >.> We have to share a room, and so she's been taking A LOT of her frustration out on me recently, and it's...very much not conductive to writing or...anything, really. And it sucks because it's hard to escape her in this tiny house, and because I've been putting up with it FOR SO LONG (I try not to really respond and not rock the boat), and now it's just really grating on me, and so then I speak up to try to make her back off, and then she REALLY flips out and goes off about how she can't take me being so combative and how I'm always starting fights when I'm really not and all I want is for her to leave me alone...ahem. Sorry. I'm just stressed and feel constantly rubbed the wrong way, so that equals no writing and for me to try to bury myself in nice fluffy fanfic or whatever instead, but then she just comes after me even more, and it's a vicious cycle. Sorry for dumping on you. :/

Yeah, I get you. Ip's mostly on tumblr these days, but even though I'm on there too I don't talk to her much, because she's into all these new fandoms that I'm not, and so there's not much I can really comment on. It also doesn't help that I'm not very active or talkative on tumblr anyway...I mostly just look at stuff, so it's rare that I actually engage, really. But then, I've been bad about being social on any sites lately, so I suppose there's that too. *headdesks* Life sucks. XD

Yeah, I wish I could do that. The problem with my dad and me, apart from lack of common interests, is that we only get basic channels, so there's, imo, not much to watch in the first place, and even if I put something on Netflix down there, he still stays in his own little world and ignores me. Maybe that's our problem as a family. We need to get more quality time. *groans* God, I am just miserable at the moment, so sorry if this message is off or whatever.

You mostly get error messages when too many people try to log into one account; only 2 people can watch stuff at the same time. Also, it depends on how good the internet connection is. And I've never tried to use subtitles on the TV before, but some things are MUCH easier when you watch on your computer, and I know there's a drop-down menu for subtitles when you're online. (I know because when I was watching FMA on my laptop, sometimes at the beginning of a new episode it would switch languages XD) So, idk if any of that helps you at all.

Well, at least I'm off to a somewhat productive start for today. I've eaten, I took my meds, I managed a little writing, and now I've finished answering my emails for the day. Here's to hoping I can keep it up. :)
